A taboo subject for centuries, this play seeks to open the lines of communication between those who have been touched by pregnancy loss in any form and on any level. Still, Birth. has been accepted into the New York Theatre Festival Summer Fest 2017 with a September run at the Hudson Guild Theatre in NYC.

Still, Birth. by Coley Campany and Robyne Parrish received its first developmental staged reading at Off the Wall Productions in Carnegie PA on March 17th, 2017.
Still, Birth had its NYC premiere this September at the 2017 NY Theatre Festival at the Hudson Guild Theatre. It was nominated for Best Short Play at the Festival. It is now touring the states as an on-going outreach project. https://www.stillbirthplay.com/

Goodbadugly
Robyne’s new ten minute play Goodbadugly was presented as a part of Swan Day with No Name Players at the Hazlett Theatre in Pittsburgh in March 2011.
Robyne's plays GOODBADUGLY and KISS ME garnered the Audience Choice Award at the Chain Theatre Short Play Festival earlier this summer, 2021
GOODBADUGLY enjoyed a short run at the Bank Theatre NYC with the Labyrinth Theatre Ensemble 2014 in November 2014.

Ms. Parrish’s play, The Safe Place received a staged reading at the Underground Readings at the Gray Box Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA in June 2011, produced by Terra Nova and hosted by Bill Cameron.

R.M. Parrish visited Robbie Lee’s hometown in Tennessee this past May 2008! She spoke at both the Del Rio and Parrotsville school, as well as appeared at a signing sponsored by the Guild of the Smokies and the East Tennessee Coffee Company (click here for more info).

R.M. Parrish lives in NYC but was raised in the Carolina's by a whole bunch of Southerners from Tennessee, Georgia and South Carolina. She writes, teaches and works as an actress and director. Ms. Parrish is a graduate of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama, and a Master of Science in Psychology from UOP. She spent three years as an MFA candidate in Theatre and Pedagogy at Point Park University Conservatory of Performing Arts in Pittsburgh. She lived in NC from 2012-2017 where she serves as Artistic Director to the Gilbert Theater for five seasons. Her plays have been featured at the New York Theatre Festival, the NYC Rogue Festival, The Theatre for the New City Dream Up festival, Off the Wall Theatre PA, Pittsburgh Swan Day Festival, Pittsburgh Underground Readings, Lexington County Arts Assoc. and The Gilbert Theater. Also in NYC at the historic Players Theatre, The Bank Theatre with the Labyrinth Ensemble, Manhattan Rep, Identity Theatre and the 78th street workshop. Her poetry and prose have been featured in: The Writers Outlet, Helium.com and The Filmworks Magazine. Her poetry has been lauded by the Writers Conference of St. David’s. Up Next: A short story entitled THE BOX as part of a compilation of spooky southern stories in the upcoming anthology, SC Screams.
